Affiliate program

Send athletes.
Earn for a year.

You already point athletes toward their next block of good training. Give them your Train Tracks code and they get two weeks of the full app free — no card, nothing to cancel. You earn 30% of net proceeds on what they pay for the next 12 months.

What your audience gets

Two weeks of everything, free

2 weeks free

Your code unlocks the full app — plan engine, calendar scheduling, fueling targets, Strava sync — free for two weeks.

No card, nothing to cancel

No payment method is required at any point during those two weeks. Nothing is running in the background, so there's nothing for them to remember to cancel.

One code per account, ever

An athlete can redeem exactly one Train Tracks code on their account, once. Codes are meant for athletes who are new to Train Tracks.

Redeemed inside the app

This is not an App Store offer code and it has nothing to do with Apple. Your Train Tracks code is entered in the app itself, on the subscribe screen.

What you earn

30% of net proceeds, for 12 months

Net proceeds means the price after Apple's commission and local sales tax come out. Both vary by country, so treat the numbers below as typical rather than exact.

Your earning window runs 12 months from the day your code is redeemed — not from the athlete's first payment. Roughly the first month of that window is free time, so a monthly subscriber who stays produces about 11 paid renewals inside it.

Their planPriceYou earn
Monthly$9.99 / month~$2.40 for each month they stay~$26 for a subscriber who stays the whole window
Yearly$69.99 / year~$17, paid onceOne payment, one commission

Approximate, in USD. What you actually earn depends on Apple's cut and the sales tax where the athlete lives.

How athletes redeem

Four steps, all inside the app

01

Download Train Tracks from the App Store

02

Sign up and build your plan

03

On the subscribe screen tap “Have a promo code?”

04

Enter the code

How you get credit

No tracking links, no cookies, no attribution window to worry about. When an athlete enters your code, their account is tagged with it — and that tag is what earns. Share your code however you like: on camera, in a newsletter, on a whiteboard at the pool.

How you get paid

Monthly, once the money lands

Paid monthly, 45–60 days behind
Commissions are paid monthly, 45–60 days after the month they were earned. Apple remits to us on a delay, so we pay you once the money has actually arrived.
$25 minimum
If your balance is under $25 in a given month, it rolls forward and pays out as soon as it crosses the line. Nothing is ever lost.
Refunds reverse the commission
If an athlete is refunded, the commission you earned on that payment is reversed and netted against your balance. A reversal that lands after you've already been paid carries forward. You are never invoiced for a negative balance — it simply has to clear before the next payment.
W-9 and 1099-NEC (US affiliates)
US affiliates return a W-9 before payouts pass $600 in a calendar year. We issue a 1099-NEC the following January.

The rules

Under-promise. The app over-delivers.

Approved wording

“2 weeks free with my code — no card, nothing to cancel.”

Accurate, easy to say out loud, and it never surprises anyone.

Never say “free month”

After the two free weeks, athletes are offered Apple's own two-week free trial — so someone who loves it may end up training free for about a month. That is a bonus they discover, not a claim you may make. Apple's trial requires a payment method, and promising “a free month” produces “it asked for my card” complaints.

Disclose every time

Every post that uses your code carries #ad or “I earn a commission if you subscribe.” That's an FTC requirement and a condition of payout.

No promised results, no one else's data

Don't promise training outcomes — finish times, PRs, or qualifying. And don't show anyone's training data but your own.

Who we're looking for

  • Triathlon and endurance coaches
  • Tri club and team leaders
  • YouTube, podcast, and newsletter creators in endurance sport
  • Run/tri shop owners and race organizers
